scrollAbout Me
SAANGO is the result of rebuilding from the ground up.
Only six months ago I began learning music production with no formal training, no music degree and no roadmap. Every release, every mix and every mistake has happened publicly. Instead of waiting until I was "good enough," I chose to document the entire journey as it unfolded.
Music became something far more meaningful after permanent hearing loss changed the way I experienced sound. What initially felt like an ending became the beginning of a completely different path. It taught me that limitations don't always stop you — they force you to adapt, evolve and create differently.
Before music, I spent almost twenty years working across construction, hospitality leadership and building management. Those industries taught me discipline, systems, accountability and consistency. Today, those same principles shape everything I create. Nothing is added without purpose. Every sound, every transition and every decision has to earn its place.
My music is influenced by real life. Hardship, philosophy, resilience, personal growth and observations of the world naturally find their way into my work. At times those observations may touch on society or politics, not to tell people what to believe, but to encourage people to think for themselves.
This isn't a story about becoming successful overnight. It's about showing what's possible when you commit to improving every single day. You're witnessing the beginning of that journey.
Join me as I evolve.
Why I Do This
I don't make music simply to release songs. I create experiences.
Music has become the way I process life, challenge myself creatively and turn discipline into something people can feel. Every project is another opportunity to improve, learn and leave behind something meaningful.
If someone finishes listening to one of my mixes or tracks feeling calmer, stronger or simply understood, then I've achieved exactly what I set out to do.
What Music Means To Me
Music has become a language beyond words. It creates movement without instruction. Emotion without explanation. Connection without conversation.
The records that have stayed with me weren't the loudest — they were the ones that rewarded patience. They slowly unfolded over time and revealed something new every time I came back to them. That's the standard I hold myself to every time I create.
My Philosophy
This isn't marketing. It's the foundation of everything I do.
Every difficult experience has taught me something valuable. Rather than allowing those moments to define me, I chose to use them as fuel to build something meaningful. That philosophy extends directly into my music.
Discipline creates freedom. Consistency compounds. Less is more. Every element must earn its place. Space is just as important as sound. The strongest ideas rarely shout — they quietly prove themselves over time.
These principles have shaped not only my productions but the way I approach life itself.
My Vision
I don't want to create disposable music. I want to create journeys. Music that rewards patience. Music that slowly evolves. Music that allows people to disconnect from noise and reconnect with themselves.
Whether someone is standing in an underground warehouse, watching an open-air destination session or listening alone through headphones, I want every release to feel immersive, intentional and emotionally honest.
My goal isn't simply to build an audience. It's to build something that lasts.
Mixing Style
My approach to DJing has been heavily influenced by Jody Wisternoff. His long-form progressive style taught me the value of patience, restraint and allowing records to breathe. Rather than chasing constant drops or fast transitions, I focus on flow, storytelling and intentional movement across an entire set.
Other artists who continue to inspire different parts of my creative process include Adam Ten, Mita Gami, Adam Port, Tim Green, Black Coffee, Ben Böhmer, Marsh, Tinlicker, Volen Sentir, Solomun and Boris Brejcha. Each has contributed ideas around groove, atmosphere, arrangement and restraint, while encouraging me to develop a sound that ultimately feels like my own.
Achievements
The Saango Sessions Journey Series has been the biggest driver of everything below — a huge success and the clearest proof that consistency beats intensity.
Everything changed once I applied consistency, stopped overposting, and moved the visual identity to black and white only. Subscriber growth is up 2,319% year-over-year against the same stretch in 2025. May was the peak month — +8,259 subscribers, a 193% jump on April — and growth has settled since, landing at +6,370 in June. Views tell the same story: 144,721 across 2026 so far, up 1,426% on 2025, with May again the standout month at 48,862.
This is the greatest achievement of the journey so far. By the start of next year, my goal is monetisation.
Releases
Released — EP · 2026
What's underneath, glowing through the cracks — five tracks built around the idea that what you show the world is never the whole picture.
Released — EP · 2026
Closeness that still carries the ache — an EP about staying present in something even when it hurts, instead of numbing out.
Released — Single
A single about getting the final word on something that once had all the power over you.
Reworking — Album · Due Late 2026 / Early 2027
Progressive techno, emotional and layered. Originally released late 2025, then pulled in early 2026 — it wasn't where it needed to be. Currently being rebuilt properly for release late 2026 into early 2027.
Standout tracks: Neon Lovers · Blue Sunrise Mindful · Red Room · The Mask
Coming next:
The Saango Universe
Saango Sessions Closed
Where the channel began. Erratic, newbie-era uploads — the series was closed and absorbed into the Sessions Journey Series once I learned that less and more disciplined beats more and scattered.
Sessions Journey Series Complete
Weekly mixes that evolved out of Saango Sessions — better curated, more disciplined, melodic and organic deep progressive house. Finished at Volume 20 in July 2026. I'm moving to monthly releases from here instead of weekly.
Saango Lab Active — 5 Vols
Original sessions only — singles and mixes built entirely from my own music. Five volumes out so far.
Saango Personal Unreleased
Where the work itself gets documented. Not public yet — it'll be revealed in due time.
Faceless Series 1–2 / month
Formerly the Arcana Series, now merged with The Wanderer. Originally a tech house, faceless peak-hour lane — now focused on faceless mixes generally. No fixed schedule yet, aiming for one or two a month.
The Wanderer Series Discontinued
Closed. I was spreading myself across too many things before I'd found the direction I actually wanted for the channel, and doing it properly would've taken more time than I could give it. Maybe a future project.

The long-term ambition is a hybrid setup — more control, a more intentional live set. That's something to grow into as experience and gear both build, not something to rush. Possibilities are endless.
